    What is DXi?

    A:

    DXi is a machine learning company that uses a set of algorithms and software to analyze web visitor behavior and determine factors that correlate with conversions. We first access analytics data from a website, then run the ML algorithms, then determine insights from the results of the computations. These results are delivered to companies as insight reports for web and UX optimization experiments.

    Should I be concerned about the security of the data uploads and loss of privacy?

    A:

    Not in this case. We only capture user behavior data, not personal data. No one else can view your company’s DXi indices and the various insights including charts, decision trees, and other insightful data except you. The system allows only the designated users who have their secure ID to access their corporate DXi output.

    What setup is required for DXi?

    A:

    Once DXi creates a customer profile, we will provide the plugin code which has to be embedded on the web pages to be monitored using Google Tag Manager. Once the plugin code is embedded, the DXi tool will start capturing individual user behavior data.

    The key distinction with DXi and other machine learning companies is what we do with the captured data. We take the parameters that are contributed by each individual user that has visited your page and bring all of those factors into play before computing the overall digital experience for your site.

    The biggest difference is that all the computing is done at the individual level data on the aggregate level data.

    Here’s an example;

    Third Party analytics for example, Google AnalyticsTM service reports data on an hourly basis. In any given hour if you have 20 customers and 20 Page visits you could have 19 bounces and 1 user who visited 20 Pages or it could be 20 individual users going to one page each. That will have a big impact on how your data has contributed to the experience of the users. We take individual data for every single user and quantify into a meaningful index. We’re looking at people and their behavior, not just events.

    Will there be a conflict in using both the Google AnalyticsTM service and your plugin on the website?

    A:

    Absolutely not. DXi works with read access to Google AnalyticsTM service and Google Tag Manager only. You can switch between the Dashboard using our plugin and the Dashboard using Google AnalyticsTM service through our tool.
